Background
The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District is requesting industry comments or concerns regarding the draft RFP for the $35M Rapid Response 5 (RR5) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) - 8(a) set-aside. The purpose of this announcement is to promote early exchanges of information about a future acquisition. The announcement does not constitute a pre-solicitation notice of solicitation issuance. The response to this announcement is strictly voluntary and will not affect any firm or corporation's ability to submit an offer if and when a solicitation is released.

Work Details
The contract awarded under this solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for Immediate/Rapid Response under NAICS Code 562910, in support of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District (USACE) and its customers located nationwide (Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. outlying areas). The contract awarded will include both cost reimbursable and firm fixed price features for remediation of various hazardous waste sites as identified in Section C. This contract will have a base performance period of three (3) years plus one (1) two (2) year option period, or until the $35,000,000.00 contract limit is reached, whichever occurs first.
