Background
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Digital Networks & Applications (DNA) Department provides Information Technology (IT) and cybersecurity services and products to NAWCAD, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) headquarters, other Department of the Navy (DON) components, and the Fleet. The DNA Department delivers enterprise-wide systems that support the community with financial, data analytics, business solutions, science and technology, acquisition, logistics and RDT&E information. The DNA Department network, traditional and wireless, transport environments include: Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR), Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN), Secure Defense Research and Engineering Network (SDREN), Research Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) network services. The DNA Department and the associated IT Enterprise provides services to over 100,000 end-users world-wide across over 1,300 unique NAVAIR requirement owners across PEO/PMA, laboratories, and other NAVAIR/NAWC organizations.

Work Details
This contract requires the Contractor to provide enterprise-wide applications, server, storage, data protection/recovery, data transport, and data environment engineering, operations, and hosting support services. The Contractor shall provide IT support services to manage and sustain the operations of NAWCAD's enterprise-wide IT server and storage computing, hosting, and data transport environments across all traditional NMCI and corporate/business operations networks, RDT&E network environments, stand-alone environments, on premise, hybrid, and cloud-based. This includes IT Management Support; Critical Incident Response and Support Requirements; Enterprise Hosting and Architecture Strategy Performance Requirements; Network, Integration and Systems Engineering; Quality Assurance Services; IT Environment Operations Support; Detailed Support Requirements such as continual service improvement approach; development of general health of environments reports; collection of information for data calls; development of organizational standard operating procedures; IT enterprise strategic planning; studies for organizational optimization and efficiency; preparation of documentation to procure hardware/software/maintenance/licensing/supplies utilizing NAVAIR acquisition management system tools.

Period of Performance
The contract will result in placement of a Single Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five (5) year base ordering period and an optional two (2) year ordering period. The anticipated award date for this contract is 24 July 2024.

The geographic location(s) for performance is primarily at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Patuxent River, MD.
