DPM and Local Move, Area III.   2

Background
The contract is issued by the Department of Defense (DoD) for the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) personal property shipments at Camp Humphreys. The mission of this contract is to facilitate the transportation of personal property for DoD personnel, including local moves to and from government quarters or private housing. The goal is to ensure efficient packing, containerization, and local drayage services in compliance with established standards and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for the transportation of personal property shipments. Services include:
- Packing
- Containerization
- Loading/unloading of household goods (HHG) and unaccompanied baggage (UB)
- Pre-move surveys
- Weighing of items
- Appliance connection/disconnection
- Tagging and inventorying items
- Documentation preparation
- Loss/damage reporting.

The contractor must adhere to commercial standards and best practices unless specific instructions are provided. The work will be performed under various Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) that cover outbound services (local moves), inbound services (returning shipments), and intra-city moves.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes a phase-in period from September 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025 followed by a base year from October 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. There are four additional option years extending through August 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Camp Humphreys located in Pyeongtaek, Korea.
