Description

The Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific (CLWP) in Singapore is seeking a contractor employee to provide special studies and analytical support services to the N3 Operations Department and the N5 Plans and Exercises Division. The contractor will be responsible for providing analytical and administrative support services related to the CLWP Operations, Pacific Partnership Program, Maritime Security Initiative (MSI), and Operational Plan analysis. This includes researching, reviewing, assessing, analyzing, developing, writing, and archiving documents related to these areas. The contractor will also be involved in project management of changes to the Logistics Coordination Center (LCC) Infrastructure, Command & Control, and Information Technology (IT) Systems. The period of performance for this contract is one base year with two option years.

The work will be performed at COMLOGWESTPAC/CTF73 Headquarters in Singapore. The contractor employee will be responsible for providing support between the hours of 0730 – 1630 Monday through Friday, except on federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to emergencies or administrative closings. The contractor employee must have a TOP SECRET clearance and will be responsible for safeguarding all government equipment, information, and property provided for contractor use.

Notable aspects of this opportunity include the requirement for extensive experience in a Navy or Joint staff environment with knowledge of maritime operations and strategic planning. The contractor employee will also be involved in supporting Pacific Partnership meetings and analyzing the effectiveness of ongoing operations. Additionally, there is a focus on infrastructure and IT systems management, including project planning and implementation. Travel may be required for certain aspects of the work.
