Description

The United States Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is seeking professional services for its Project Management Oversight (PMO) program. The purpose of the PMO program is to ensure that major capital transit projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with all federal requirements. The PMO contracts will provide FTA with oversight and programmatic inputs for its grants programs and major capital projects. The contracts will include tasks such as reviewing project management plans, assessing technical capacity and capability, evaluating project effectiveness and efficiency, and monitoring grant and project activities. The contracts will be awarded through a multiple award contract vehicle.

The PMO contracts will require the contractor to provide management, administration, staffing, planning, scheduling, and other activities necessary for the performance of the contract and task orders. The contractor will be responsible for submitting proposals, recruiting and hiring staff, maintaining necessary skills and resources, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements. The contractor will also be responsible for providing special technical assistance, conducting special oversight, and performing other work as directed by FTA.
