Dorms CCTV Surveillance System Upgrade

Background
The U.S. Air Force is seeking to upgrade the CCTV Surveillance System at Aviano Air Base, Italy. The goal of this contract is to enhance security by providing full surveillance coverage of dormitory common areas, elevators, walkways, parking lots, and campus areas. The system must comply with NDAA Section 889 requirements and support advanced features such as continuous recording and secure network access.

Work Details
The upgrade requires the installation of cameras and support equipment from Axis Communications to ensure compatibility with existing systems. Key components include:
- Installation of new cameras (Axis P3738-LV/PLE, Axis P4708-PLVE, Axis P1468-LE) for previously uncovered areas.
- Integration of active network equipment (Axis T8524 PoE+ network switch).
- Upgrade of the recording system using a centralized NVR with RAID storage and remote management capabilities (Axis Camera Station S1264 Rack).
- Programming and configuration of cameras including static IP assignment, video stream configuration (H.265 compression), image parameter adjustments, motion detection rules, and integration into centralized supervision software.
- Supply and installation of Cat6 24AWG U/UTP cables compliant with Euroclass Cca standards.

Technical specifications include:
- IP cameras: 8MP resolution, IR capabilities up to 30/50m, IP66/IK10 protection, 24V PoE power supply.
- PoE switches: 24 Gigabit ports with total power ≥ 370W.
- NVR: supports redundant storage up to 144TB with various RAID configurations and encrypted remote access.
