Dormakaba electronic door lock system

Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT), Public Works Department (PWD), located in Rota, Spain, is seeking to procure a brand-name RFID electronic door lock system from Dormakaba. This initiative aims to enhance security within 19 unaccompanied housing barracks at Naval Station Rota. The contract will be awarded on a sole-source basis due to the unique capabilities of Dormakaba products and their compliance with cybersecurity requirements.

Work Details
Dormakaba will furnish and install the following items:
- 1,500 Dormakaba-brand Ilco 790 RFID Electronic Door Locks, each equipped with mechanical lock cylinders and master keys.
- 3,000 plates for the locks.
- Two Front Desk Unit systems, which include training and system setup.
- 20,000 RFID cards for access control.
Additionally, Dormakaba will supply:
- 100 extra RFID Electronic Door Locks with mechanical lock cylinders for spares.
- 200 decorative plates to be used as spares.

Period of Performance
The proposed contract will consist of one base year and one option year.
