Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 5th Contracting Squadron at Minot AFB, ND, is seeking to replace outdated and damaged furniture for the dormitories 122 and 123. This initiative aims to refresh the living conditions for personnel stationed at Minot AFB as part of their five-year furnishing plan. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary resources to complete this task effectively.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all tools, materials, and labor to remove, supply, and deliver furniture to each room in buildings 122 and 123. The specific items required include:

- **Building 122:**
- 34 bed frames with under bed storage (solid wood or solid wood core, fit twin XL mattress, minimum 450 lb capacity)
- 34 night stands (solid wood or solid wood core, minimum one drawer with built-in lamp/light)
- 34 media chests (solid wood or solid wood core, minimum one open pocket, maximum dimensions: 28” deep x 42” wide)
- 34 pedestal desks (solid wood or solid wood core, maximum dimensions: 48” long x 28” deep, with built-in light)
- 34 desk chairs (solid wood or solid wood core, two position)

- **Building 123:**
- Same quantities and specifications as Building 122.

The contractor must also ensure that all old furniture is removed and disposed of off-base. Work must comply with applicable building standards and codes while adhering to safety and security guidelines throughout the installation process.

Period of Performance
Removal shall start within 30 days from purchase order issuance and should be completed within a maximum of 30 days (6 work weeks).
