DOJ DEA - HR AED Program Support Services - MRAS

The Department of Justice (DOJ), through the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to support the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) Human Resources Division. The DEA has embarked on a comprehensive self-assessment of its human capital strategy, aiming to enhance the return on investment, quality, efficiency, and employee satisfaction. To achieve these goals, the DEA seeks support services that span a wide range of human resources functions, aligning with its mission objectives.

A key component of this initiative is the operation and management of the DEA's Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and Safety Station Program (SSP). The DEA requires a vendor capable of providing administrative support and medical direction for 370 AEDs located within U.S. Government leased or owned office spaces occupied by the agency. This includes ensuring compliance with federal Occupant Emergency Plan requirements through site-specific written policies for AED use.

The contractor will be responsible for overseeing a consistent clinical performance standard across all DEA offices by providing an appropriately licensed Medical Director or team of directors. This involves approving emergency plan templates tailored to each office's unique conditions while maintaining a standardized program philosophy essential for a mobile workforce. Furthermore, the contractor must establish systems to track vital information about each AED unit and ensure their readiness through monthly reminders and checks.
