DOI - Cottonwood Field Office Cleaning - MRAS

The General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the Department of the Interior (DOI), is conducting market research to secure janitorial services for the Bureau of Land Management's Cottonwood Field Office. The primary goal of this contract is to ensure that the facilities are maintained in a clean and safe condition, adhering to performance criteria that meet acceptable safety standards and appearance for a government facility subjected to considerable use. This effort underscores DOI's commitment to providing a well-maintained environment for its employees and visitors.

The scope of work involves comprehensive cleaning services across approximately 5,562 square feet of office space within two main facilities: an administrative building and a warehouse. The contractor will be responsible for cleaning all designated office areas, common areas, public spaces, restrooms, and break rooms. Specific tasks include managing all aspects of janitorial work such as providing management, supervision, labor, supplies, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to perform these services effectively and efficiently. The contractor must adhere to applicable codes and standards while ensuring that all surfaces are free from dirt or impurities.

The administrative building comprises around 5,151 square feet with a mix of carpeted areas (approximately 4,194 sq. ft.), ceramic tiles (388 sq. ft.), and polished concrete flooring (568 sq. ft.). It includes three restrooms but excludes certain rooms from service requirements. The warehouse building has about 415 square feet dedicated to janitorial services with polished concrete flooring throughout its designated service areas including one restroom and one shower room.

Contractors must comply with HSPD-12 requirements for personnel access due to the sensitive nature of federal facilities. This entails obtaining Federal government-issued Personal Identity Verification credentials for contractor personnel requiring unsupervised access to DOI facilities or information systems. The contract performance period begins on January 17th, 2020 through January 16th, 2021 with four additional option periods available each lasting one year.
