Description

The Department of Energy (DOE), through the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to identify capable contractors for providing administrative office support services. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of the DOE's National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Nevada Field Office (NFO). The NFO plays a crucial role in overseeing the safe and secure operations of the Nevada National Security Sites (NNSS) and related locations, ensuring that these facilities meet their strategic objectives in energy, environmental, and nuclear security.

The contract seeks to engage a contractor to deliver non-personal general administrative support services. The scope of work includes handling correspondence and report processing, travel coordination, records management, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) support, and other essential office duties. These services are intended to bolster various NFO divisions including those responsible for mission execution, infrastructure management, safeguards and security, environment safety and health, operations engineering, as well as business and contract management.

The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all labor necessary for these administrative functions is provided efficiently. The work will primarily take place at the NNSA Nevada Support Facility in North Las Vegas with potential assignments at NNSS in Mercury, Nevada. To ensure continuity in mission-critical operations, contractor personnel must be available during core business hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays. Moreover, while onsite presence remains standard practice, provisions exist for telework or remote work when deemed appropriate by NFO leadership.
