Description

Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Procurement Office is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of and qualified to provide Daily Commute (DC) and Special Needs Student Transportation Services in support of the DoDEA-Americas South-East District School Bus Transportation Services - Ft. Novosel Military Community, Alabama.

Background
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Procurement Office is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing Daily Commute (DC) and Special Needs Student Transportation Services for the DoDEA-Americas South-East District School Bus Transportation Services at Ft. Novosel Military Community, Alabama.

The mission of DoDEA is to provide quality education to the children of military families, and this contract aims to support that mission by ensuring safe and reliable transportation services.

Work Details
Contractors are required to provide all necessary personnel including management, drivers, safety attendants, and safety aides. They must also supply supervision, services, vehicles, adaptive seat devices, and equipment necessary for transporting students and other authorized individuals safely to and from their designated schools and alternate sites for classes and authorized school activities.

This includes after-school activity runs, career practicums, or other curricular shuttle runs. All contracted services must comply with Federal, state, and DoDEA requirements for student transportation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will include a base period and four (4) option periods with an anticipated start date of 1 August 2025.
