DODEA PM/DM IDIQ for Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Schools located in Georgia and Alabama, for USACE--Norfolk District.   4

Background
The USACE, Norfolk District is seeking eligible firms capable of Preventative Maintenance and repair services in support of the DoDEA ? America?s facilities located in Georgia and Alabama. The services provided under this proposed contract encompass a wide range of facilities maintenance services such as operation and maintenance of heating, ventilation and cooling systems, kitchen equipment, facility control systems, electrical, fire alarms, playgrounds, roofs, and other facility systems and components. These services must be provided on an ongoing basis without protracted lapse to ensure that the building systems continue to operate efficiently and safely for the benefit of the students and teachers that inhabit them.
The facilities under this action include eight (8) schools, three (3) support facilities (DSO, CSO, and Bus Barn) within Georgia and Alabama installations totaling approximately 878,000 Gross Square Feet (GSF).

Work Details
The work details include a comprehensive list of tasks to be completed under the contract. This includes preventive maintenance for various systems such as mechanical systems, direct digital control (DDC) systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, kitchen equipment, roof systems, building systems, fire alarm and suppression systems, and playgrounds. It also outlines the requirements for demand maintenance and repair services for these systems. The contract also specifies the minimum guarantee which includes services identified in several sections for a period of six (6) months for facilities located at Fort Moore, Georgia; Fort Novosel, Alabama; and Maxwell AFB, Alabama.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract includes a base period of six months for recurring services with options for additional recurring services for up to four years. Additionally, there is an indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) ordering period for duration of the contract to accommodate maintenance or repair services for requirements above the limit of liability for specific locations.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the construction projects will be performed include Fort Moore in Georgia, Fort Novosel in Alabama, Maxwell AFB in Alabama.
