Description

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 15, a single or multiple award Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract(s) for Aviano Student Transportation Services, Italy, DoDEA-Europe South District. Services will be for a 5-year period, which includes a Base Period of one (1) year and four (4) one-year Option Periods.

No information concerning the solicitation or requests for clarifications will be provided in response to telephone calls. All inquiries/questions must be submitted in writing via email to Ms. Sidnie Miranda at Sidnie.Miranda@dodea.edu and Ms. Marcia Lee at Marcia.Lee@dodea.edu with the subject line HE1254-23-R-2001 RFP Questions.

DoDEA reserves the right to send hard copies of the solicitation package directly to local vendors in the Host Nation.

Background
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, a single or multiple award Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract(s) for Aviano Student Transportation Services, Italy, DoDEA-Europe South District. Work Details
The contractor shall provide Daily Commute (DC) Transportation Services (STS) and Special Needs Student Transportation Services (STS) in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The services include providing vehicles and drivers to transport passengers on specified route schedules IAW the PWS. The contract also requires the provision of Safety Attendants and Safety Aides IAW the PWS.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a 5-year period, which includes a Base Period of one (1) year and four (4) one-year Option Periods.

The geographic location for performance of the contract is Aviano, Italy.
