5.11.2020 - The purpose of amendment 0002 is to provide Questions & Answers to the solicitation received during the questions submission period, update the pricing sheet (Attachment 2), and update language in addendas to FAR 52.2121-1 and FAR52.212-2.

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), is a Federally-operated school system, responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing prekindergarten through 12th grade educational programs on behalf of the Department of Defense (DoD). DoDEA is globally positioned, operating 163 accredited schools in 8 districts located in 11 foreign countries, 7 states, Guam, and Puerto Rico. DoDEA employs approximately 8,700 employees who serve more than 78,000 children of active duty military and DoD civilian families. DoDEA is committed to ensuring that all school-aged children of military families are provided a world-class education that prepares them for postsecondary education and/or career success and to be leading contributors in their communities as well as in our 21st century globalized society.

The purpose of the contract is to provide student transportation services. Safety is of the highest priority entrusted to the contractor under this contract. The contractor shall perform all services in a safe, prudent and professional manner accepting full and sole responsibility for the prompt and proper delivery of services. Maintain good order of passengers at all times. Transportation services for students must be completed in the safest and most efficient manner possible.

The contractor shall provide all personnel including drivers, safety attendants, enhanced security attendants, supervision, services, supplies, and/or equipment necessary to perform student transportation services at Spangdahlem. Contracted services must be in compliance with all of the DoDEA and Host Nation requirements for student transportation.
