The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is seeking support for their Special Operations Communication Office (SOCO) in the production and execution of the SOFcast podcast. The purpose of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) is to provide expert support to assist in the technical production and execution of the podcast. The contractor will be responsible for tasks such as researching episode ideas, assembling monthly reports on podcast analytics, setting up and breaking down recording equipment, editing and mixing recorded sound and video, and providing multiple updates for each episode until final approval. The place of performance will primarily be at Headquarters USSOCOM in Tampa, Florida, with telework authorized for administrative tasks. The contractor will need to possess a Secret clearance and meet specific skill requirements in audio production and communication-related fields.

The contractor will be required to produce up to 36 podcast episodes per year, including scheduling, recording, post-production, distribution, and basic analysis of each episode. They will also be responsible for creating promotional content, episode summaries, descriptions, and social media content in support of the podcast. Additionally, the contractor will assist with scheduling guests, conducting pre-show interviews, uploading podcasts to hosting sites such as Spreaker and YouTube, and providing expertise knowledge on communication tools used in podcast development. Monthly reports and quarterly reports will be required to track progress and provide updates on the contract.

Security requirements include a Secret clearance for contractor personnel and compliance with safeguarding classified information. The government will provide all necessary equipment, materials, access to networks and systems, furnished office spaces, and supplies for contractors working on this effort. Travel may be required as initiated by written tasking with advance approval.
