DOD - SOF Podcast - Market Research

The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is seeking support for their Special Operations Communication Office (SOCO) in the production and execution of the SOFcast podcast. The purpose of this support is to provide expert assistance in the technical production of the podcast, which is managed by the USSOCOM Command Senior Enlisted Leader. The contractor will be responsible for tasks such as refining podcast material, researching episode ideas, analyzing user data, providing feedback on marketing content, setting up recording equipment, editing and mixing sound and video, and maintaining quality assurance throughout the production process.

The place of performance for this contract is primarily off-site/telework, with the exception of recording days and travel to Headquarters USSOCOM in Tampa, Florida. The contractor may be required to work outside of normal business hours and must possess a current active Secret clearance or have the ability to obtain one. All products and materials developed by the contractor will become the property of the government.

The contractor will be required to deliver up to 36 podcast episodes per year, including scheduling, recording, post-production, distribution, and basic analysis. They will also be responsible for creating promotional content, conducting pre-show interviews with guests, uploading podcasts to hosting sites, maintaining podcast posts on various platforms, and providing expertise knowledge on communication tools and industry standards. Monthly reports and quarterly reports will be submitted to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to track progress and address any difficulties or concerns.
