The Airspace Mission Planning Division of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is conducting market research for the Mobility Air Forces (MAF) Automated Flight Planning Service (MAFPS). MAFPS provides automated flight planning for Air Mobility Command (AMC) while considering fuel efficiency, operational needs, and mission indexing. The software integrates the Common Autorouter Baseline (CARB) and MAFPS to incorporate threat analysis in auto routing. MAFPS is a National Security System with high availability requirements and currently processes approximately 7,500 flight plans per week.
