The Department of Defense (DoD) is seeking Red Hat software and services through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in support of the DoD Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI). The DoD plans to establish multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for the procurement of Red Hat software and services. The goal is to lower total ownership costs, reduce acquisition lead times, and improve the overall lifecycle management for software licensing requirements. Resellers interested in this opportunity must meet several criteria, including having a current General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract, offering products below FSS pricing, and accepting all DoD ESI BPA terms without changes. The proposed BPAs will have a term of five years, consisting of a three-year base period and a two-year option period. Ordering will be decentralized, and order pricing will be on a firm fixed-price basis.
