DoD 4th Estate Wellness & Fitness Promotion   2

Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition Directorate (AD) intends to procure Wellness & Fitness Promotion services on behalf of the Department of Defense (DoD) Fourth (4th) Estate. Performance shall be in accordance with all applicable laws, standards, instructions, executive orders, commercial practices, and requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government anticipates the issuance of a Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) type contract with a period of performance that consist of a twelve (12) month base period and four (4)-twelve (12) month option periods.

The NAICS Code for this requirement is 561990 All Other Support Services. The small business size standard is $11.0M

This notice is in conjunction to the Sources Sought Notice 03092020KDW1330 previously issued on beta.Sam. The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to meet the requirements of FAR 5.203 Publicizing and Response Time and to notify industry, at least 15 days in advance, of the Government's intent of issuing the solicitation for Wellness & Fitness Promotion services. This requirement is anticipated to be issued as a competitive Small Business set-aside.

The issuance of the solicitation is scheduled on or around June 1, 2020, and will be distributed solely through the beta.Sam website at www.beta.Sam.gov. This procurement is anticipated to be conducted utilizing the best value, trade-off process under FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiations. The due date for the proposal submission will be 15 - 30 days after issuance of the solicitation.
