Dockside: USCGC Benjamin Bottoms DS FY26 #1 & #2 MDE QL3   3

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard is issuing a solicitation for dockside repairs of the USCGC BENJAMIN BOTTOMS (WPC-1132). The goal of this contract is to ensure the vessel is maintained and operational, aligning with the Coast Guard's mission to protect maritime interests and ensure safety at sea.

The contract will involve various maintenance tasks as outlined in the Statement of Work.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for performing dockside repairs on the USCGC BENJAMIN BOTTOMS, which includes but is not limited to:
- Conducting maintenance and repairs as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Implementing a Fire Safety Plan that includes temporary measures for fire detection and alarm systems during repairs.
- Addressing potential breaches of fire protection boundaries and mitigating risks associated with these breaches.
- Ensuring compliance with U.S. Coast Guard standard specifications and providing necessary documentation such as welder continuity documentation.
- Contractors are expected to inspect the site prior to work commencement to understand local conditions affecting performance costs.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from November 4, 2025, to December 16, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at 1001 S Seaside Ave, San Pedro, CA 90731-7333.
