Background
The solicitation is for a contract with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) for dockside repairs to the USCGC BERTHOLF (WMSL-750) as specified in Attachment 2 – Statement of Work - Specification. The period of performance for this contract is from 06 July 2022 to 03 September 2022. The place of performance will be at the pier located at Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA 94501.

Work Details
The work items to be completed under the contract include tasks such as cleaning and inspecting tanks, incinerator clean, inspection and test, installation of BERP and QAWTD 01-57-2, modification of AFFF Bilge Sprinkling Piping, installation of deck drain, preservation of decks, renewal of deck covering, provision of tenting, optional general welding, and overhaul of STBD Steering Actuator.
The solicitation also includes specific instructions for submitting quotes and requirements for small businesses.
