DLA Warehouse, Richmond, VA. *see attached solicitation and supporting documents. * The purpose of this amendment (0002) to revised specs, plans, decrease period of performance end date from 510 days to 400 days, and to extend the closing date from 10 May 2023 to 22 May 2023. All track changes are indicated with a red vertical line. Offerors are required to acknowledge the amendments and submit with their proposal. All other terms and conditions remain the same.

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District has a requirement to renovate an existing warehouse used for material disposition for the Department of Defense at Richmond, VA. The warehouse is approximately 189,500 Square Foot (SF) with a total of five bays.

Work Details
The construction tasks include:
- Demolition of existing pallet racks, cages, and all associated warehouse equipment
- Diamond polishing/repairing concrete floors/add striping
- Installation of pallet racks, pallet wrapping machines, security cages, conveyors, and dock leveler systems
- Installation of forklift charging stations with exhaust and eyewash systems
- Installation of CMU wall for pedestrian walkway
- Construction of handicap walkway/widen stairs
- Sawtooth/rebuild concrete loading dock
- Removal/replacement of lighting to LED
- Installation of IR heating
- Installation of large ceiling mounted fans for ventilation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is decreased from 510 days to 400 days.
