DLA Family Day Event Planning & Operations - Ft Belvoir MWR

Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is a global combat support agency within the Department of Defense responsible for providing logistics, acquisition, and technical services to the U.S. military and federal partners. The DLA Headquarters Complex (HQC) at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, supports multiple tenant organizations and federal partners in national defense logistics missions.

The DLA Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) programs enhance the quality of life for the DLA workforce and their families through community-building activities and recreational programming. The 2026 Family Day event, themed 'America250', aims to celebrate America's heritage and community spirit with an estimated attendance of approximately 7,000 participants.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all management, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, setup, operation, and teardown necessary for the DLA HQC Family Day event. Key tasks include: designing a comprehensive activity plan aligned with the America250 theme; providing a balanced mix of youth activities, family activities, adult-friendly engagement opportunities; developing a 'Kid Zone' concept; ensuring safety standards for all inflatables; providing ten professional caricature artists; coordinating placement of activities with installation officials; and maintaining compliance with fire code requirements for indoor activities.

The contractor must also demonstrate insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from June 25, 2026 to June 26, 2026.
