Tuesday November 19th and Wednesday November 20th, 2024, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST
The Defense Logistics Agency must operate on a wartime footing amid the contested logistics environment in which we live. This industry engagement event is meant to strengthen readiness and accelerate innovation in support of the Warfighter, so that DLA can continue to provide world class support to our uniformed customers.

Small Business
Operational Contracting
Hazardous Waste Disposal Contracting
Public Sales Contracting
o Useable Surplus Material

Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is holding an Industry Day forum focused on Contracting Industry Engagement. This event aims to strengthen readiness and accelerate innovation in support of the Warfighter, ensuring that DLA can continue to provide world-class support to uniformed customers.

The forum will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Battle Creek, MI.

Work Details
The Industry Day will cover a variety of contracting topics including:
- Small Business
- Operational Contracting
- Hazardous Waste Disposal Contracting
- Public Sales Contracting.

Specific areas of focus will include Useable Surplus Material and Government Scrap Contracts. Attendees are required to register by providing their company name, names of individuals attending, and the days they plan on attending (November 19, November 20, or both days). Foreign visitors must register by September 15 and await further instructions.
