Distributed Targeting Processor - Networked FRP 1-3

The Naval Air Systems Command, PMA-265 (Program Office for F/A-18 Aircraft) awarded a sole- source Firm Fixed Price Contract to the Boeing Company for FRP 1-3 Kits (FY 21-23) Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRA) and A-kits for the Distributed Targeting Processor-Networked (DTP-N). The DTP-N program includes proprietary technologies that were funded and developed by Boeing, and were integrated into a box design to meet F-18 integration and qualifications.

This acquisition was awarded on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Boeing is the designer, developer, and manufacturer; and as such, has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required.
