Distilling Plant No. 2 Feedwater Heater - Commercial Supply

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) awarded this fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(2) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. This fixed price, commercial supply contract was awarded to EST Group, Inc. for the replacement of Tube Liners in Distilling Plant on a US Navy surface vessel, with a period of performance of 01 DEC 21 - 29 DEC 21. Competition was limited to EST Group, Inc., as they are the known source for this requirement. Competition was limited to avoid an impact to the operational readiness of the vessel and to avoid degradation of the Navy's mission.
