Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability and technical capability of small and large businesses to meet the Government's requirement for a quantity of one Winchester Systems Disk Array. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this Sources Sought Notice/Market Research efforts, the requirement may result in a single source acquisition, may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part), or may be procured through full and open competition. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and feedback or evaluations may or may not be provided to companies regarding submissions. Please see attachments for additional details.

Background

Work Details
The Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold AFB in Tennessee is seeking sources interested and capable of meeting the requirement for a quantity of one Winchester Systems Disk Array. The contract is considering the use of a firm-fixed-price contract. The delivery location is Arnold AFB, TN.

The anticipated Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs), equipment descriptions, and estimated quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001 - Equipment – Winchester Systems Disk Array, IAW Attachment 1 – DRAFT Disk Array Specification, Unit: EA, Quantity: 1.
