Notice of Intent Brand Name Items Discovery Dorm Renovation Whiteman AFB, Missouri

Description

This Notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is DFARS 206.302-1(c)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District intends to include brand name or equal descriptions in its solicitation numbered W912DQ21B4000. This project consists of the renovation of an existing facility for the Air Force at Whiteman AFB, MO. The facility is situated on Whiteman AFB and will include major upgrades including interior finishes, windows, doors, minor plumbing and HVAC repairs (See Attached). This project is going to solicited to all Small Businesses and will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This facility will require the purchase of many interior finishes of which we have identified by brand name for clarification of color and salient features. Contractors can propose alternate materials so long as the intent of the colors and salient features are met.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later 11:00 AM Central Time on September 20, 2021 to carmen.e.hopkins@usace.army.mil and matthew.a.zayd@usace.army.mil.
