DirectTV BPA

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is seeking to establish a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for DirecTV services.

The Corporate Communications Division (Code 103) supports communication needs on base, ensuring the population is informed of current events through television. This BPA aims to consolidate all DirecTV requirements into a single agreement, allowing for additional services to be added as needed throughout its duration.

Work Details
The contractor will provide DirecTV services at the Naval Surface Warfare Center locations in Carderock and Olney. Key tasks include:

1. Providing DirecTV supplies and repair parts as specified in individual BPA Calls.
2. Offering service packages, with 'Business Xtra' being the primary package historically used.
3. Performing routine maintenance such as aligning satellite dishes, troubleshooting and repairing receivers, and programming remotes. Onsite support must be provided within two business days if remote assistance fails.
4. Supplying and installing necessary hardware for new service requests, including programming remotes and ensuring proper connections to existing TVs.
5. Providing pricing for various items including satellite dishes, receivers, remote controls, splitters, cables, service fees, and installation fees.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of five years from the date of award.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center locations in Carderock and Olney, Maryland.
