Description

DLA Energy issues solicitation SPE604-25-R-0401 for direct supply natural gas to various DoD and Federal Civilian installations in the West procurement area (Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Washington) with a 24-month delivery period beginning October 1, 2025. The estimated quantity for this requirement is 29,181,316 dekatherms (dths). Any resultant awards will be fixed price with economic price adjustment, requirements type contracts.

Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy is issuing solicitation SPE604-25-R-0401 for the direct supply of natural gas to various Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Civilian installations located in the West procurement area, which includes Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Washington.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a reliable supply of natural gas for these installations over a specified delivery period.

Work Details
The estimated quantity for this requirement is 29,181,316 dekatherms (dths). The contractor will be responsible for supplying and delivering direct supply natural gas as defined in the Statement of Work. Key details include:
- The National Stock Number (NSN) applicable to direct supply natural gas is 6830-01-318-5797.
- Prices must be all-inclusive and cover interstate/intrastate pipeline fuel loss, nominations costs, marketer fees/profit, pooling, balancing, and storage unless otherwise specified.
- The contractor will act as the nominating and balancing agent on behalf of customers with local distribution companies (LDCs) and pipelines.
