Background
This contract is issued by the National Capital Region Medical Directorate (NCRMD) to support the National Capital Region Pain Initiative (NCRPI) at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), Bethesda, MD.

The NCRPI aims to improve access to pain care, enhance the quality of pain services, and integrate modalities for palliative care across the region. The initiative aligns with the command's philosophy of Better Care, Better Health, Lower Cost, and Increasing Soldier Readiness.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide direct healthcare provider support including:
1 Clinical Pharmacist (1 FTE),
1 Medical Clerk (1 FTE),
1 Integrative Medicine Physician (1 FTE),
2 Pain Nurses (2 FTEs),
1 Pain Physician (1 FTE),
1 Senior Program Manager (1 FTE),
1 Integrative Medicine Nurse (RN),
1 Tele-Pain Nurse (1 FTE), and
1 Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

These personnel will perform tasks as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and are expected to maintain a stable workforce for uninterrupted service delivery. Specific duties include providing comprehensive pain management services, educational instruction to medical personnel, and participation in training events as required by NCRPI.

Base year from December 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025.
