Dino: GRD Water System Radio Transmission

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for commercial services to support Dinosaur National Park. The goal of the contract is to install a wireless communication system that will enhance the operational efficiency of the water management system within the park, specifically between the Green River District Pumphouse and water storage tanks.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for installing a wireless receiver, transmitter (Motorola R56 Standard), and solar power system. This installation will facilitate communication between the Green River District Pumphouse and the water storage tanks located in Dinosaur National Park.

Key tasks include:
1) Installing a wireless transmitter at the tank to transmit switch status;
2) Setting up a solar array with batteries to power the wireless transmitter;
3) Installing a wireless receiver at the office building to rebroadcast signals to a receiver at the pump building, interfacing with the motor control system;
4) Installing yellow RF CAUTION and NO TRESPASSING signs at the radio transmitter site entrance, with exact locations determined by park personnel. The installation must comply with Motorola R56 Standards and Guidelines for Communication Sites.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from March 1, 2025, to March 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Dinosaur National Monument, located at 11625 E. 1500 S., Jensen, UT 84035.
