Background
The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking a potential contractor for the Cafeteria Services to establish and operate in the Contractor's name. The services are to be performed at the U.S. Department of Labor, Francis Perkins Building 200 Constitution Ave NW, Washington DC 20210. The contract is a No Cost Base Year five (5) year Contract with two (2) Option Years of five years.

Work Details
The Contractor shall establish and operate the food service facilities for the purpose of dispensing food, nonalcoholic beverages, supporting catering events as requested, and such other items as may be authorized by the Contracting Officer (CO). The dining facility will be operated for the benefit of approximately 1600 to 1800 staff that are assigned to the DOL facility on a full-time basis. The dining services will be provided five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, with specific service schedules for breakfast, coffee break, lunch, and PM break. The Contractor is responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service, offering a variety of quality prepared foods that are a model for wellness and sustainability, and complying with menu calorie labeling rules and food service guidelines for federal facilities.

Period of Performance
The contract shall be for a period of 5 years, effective with the beginning date specified in the Notice to Proceed, subject to the rights of termination set forth in the termination clauses. At the option of the CO and in concurrence with the Contractor, the contract may be extended thereafter for a term or terms of one to five years.
