Digital Soldier Targeting System Request for Information (RFI)

Background
The US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) C5ISR Center Research and Technology Integration (RTI) Directorate is performing market research to inform future requirements and/or develop prototype capabilities in support of the digital weapon sight and heads-up display (HUD) enabled Soldier in a dismounted application. Research areas of interest are those that could be used to increase the probability of hit of small arms fire through visualized bullet trajectory, create opportunities for coordinated small arms engagements through passive or covert (limited active) target location marking, and enhancing the performance of weapon-to-HUD orientation tracking for Passive Targeting.

Work Details
The C5ISR Center is seeking submissions of vendor capabilities in technical areas related to the digital soldier targeting system. The requested information includes company details such as name, address, technical and business/contract points of contact, CAGE Code, facility clearance level, and Joint Certification Program (JCP) DD Form 2345. Additionally, technical information related to novel passive range finding, limited active range finding, bullet trajectory visualization, vision-aided weapon tracking, target location marking, terrain map data, augmented/mixed reality, digital weapon sights, innovative image and signal processing techniques and algorithms for dismounted Soldier applications is required. The technologies should be suitable for individual Soldiers in a dismounted application and should be limited by Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) constraints.
