Digital Night Vision Goggle Test Set

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Hoffman Engineering LLC (CAGE: 06097) for the procurement of the Digital Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Test Set in support of the T-73A Aircraft. The NVG Test Set is required in support of I level inspections and repairs in accordance with NAVAIR 16-35AVS9-3 Work Package 013 00.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
