Digital Modular Radio Production 5-year Follow-On Contract   2

This synopsis provides notice that the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), on behalf of Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I), Communications and GPS Navigation Program Office (PMW/A 170), awarded contract N00039-24-D-2000 (Solicitation N00039-22-R-2000) on a sole-source basis to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) of 8201 E McDowell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ, 85257-3812. The Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract was awarded on 2/6/2024 with a value of $82,809,017 for the continued manufacturing, testing and delivery of AN/USC-61(C) digital modular radio (DMR) systems, high frequency distribution amplifier group components, spares for both systems, and engineering services to support their continued fielding and maintenance plans.
The current award provides for the engineering services and sustainment support efforts for DMR. Production pricing for the DMR system and ancillary hardware is under negotiation and will be incorporated by contract modification at a future date. This contract has a five-year ordering period up to the contract award amount. This contract is a sole-source acquisition pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(1) - only one responsible source (Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 6.302-1).
