DHS TSA Computer Network Defense Market Research

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is seeking IT cybersecurity operations and engineering support services to protect and maintain the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of its IT security and computer security operations services. The services will be provided through the TSA's Security Operation Center (SOC). The scope of work includes tasks such as SOC concept of operations, SOC services, SOC incident response management services, CNDS and IAD infrastructure, architecture, and engineering, program management, and transition management. The period of performance is a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. The primary place of performance is the TSA Freedom Center in Herndon, Virginia, with additional on-site support required at other TSA locations.

The purpose of this contract is to ensure the continued execution of TSA's mission while combating evolving cyber threats. It also supports TSA's compliance with DHS and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and mandates related to IT security. The contractor will provide comprehensive IT cybersecurity operations and engineering support services to protect the TSA's IT infrastructure. This includes centralized security monitoring, incident response management, vulnerability assessments, configuration management, asset management, network transition support, data storage development and maintenance, continuity of operations planning, disaster recovery, program management, and transition management.

The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the TSA SOC Concept of Operations (CONOPS), providing SOC monitoring and notification services, SOC cyber threat intelligence (CTI), SOC content management services, SOC reporting requirements, SOC incident response management services, CNDS and IAD infrastructure support services, program management support services, and transition management support services. The contractor will also be required to meet specific service performance levels outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) table provided in the statement of work.

Overall, this contract aims to enhance the TSA's cybersecurity capabilities by providing comprehensive support for its IT security operations. It will help detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with federal IT security mandates. The contractor will work closely with TSA and other stakeholders to provide effective and efficient cybersecurity services.
