DHS - Locksmith Services - MRAS

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is conducting market research to identify capable contractors for locksmith services at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia. The primary goal of this initiative is to ensure the security and functionality of locking mechanisms and related hardware across the facility, which plays a crucial role in training federal law enforcement personnel. This effort aligns with DHS's commitment to maintaining secure and efficient operations within its training centers.

The scope of work involves comprehensive locksmith services that include emergency response within 75 minutes and routine services with a two-hour response window during weekdays. Contractors are expected to provide key and lock services, door hardware maintenance, as well as servicing safe containers. The performance work statement specifies that the contractor must be proficient in handling various types of locking mechanisms, including those from renowned manufacturers such as Best, Yale, Schlage, Falcon, Dorma, Von Duprin, Corbin-Russwin, Arrow, Adams Rite, Sargent, Kwikset, Weiser, Master Lock Company LLC., Mosler Safe Company LLC., Sargent-Greenleaf (S&G), Mas-Hamilton Group Inc., Kaba Mas Corporation., and Dorma-Kaba Group.

Additionally, contractors must possess significant expertise with over 15 years of continuous experience in working with diverse commercial and residential hardware systems. Certification requirements include being a certified dealer for Mul-T-Lock products and Schlage systems such as Everest 29 SL and SL Primus-XP cylinders. Furthermore, proficiency in handling Kaba-Mas and Dorma-Kaba X-10 electro-mechanical locks is essential. This ensures that all locksmith tasks are performed by highly qualified professionals capable of meeting FLETC's security needs efficiently.
