DHS ICE - Industrial Hygiene Equipment Calibrations - MRAS

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), specifically the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), through its Office of Asset and Facilities Management (OAFM) and the Safety and Occupational Health Division (SOHD), is seeking to award a contract for specialized services in occupational health. The primary goal of this contract is to ensure that all ICE employees receive comprehensive industrial hygiene support services, which are essential for maintaining their health and safety across various operational environments. Given the challenges posed by budget constraints and expanding mission scopes, ICE aims to partner with a vendor capable of delivering nationwide occupational health support services through established clinics.

The contract will focus on providing calibration services for industrial hygiene equipment, which is crucial for accurate monitoring and assessment of workplace environmental conditions. These calibration services are intended to uphold the standards set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) under the U.S. Department of Commerce, ensuring that all equipment functions correctly and reliably. The specific items requiring calibration include TSI Portacount Models 8038, TSI Q-Trak IAQ meter 7580, as well as sensors for CO2, ozone, nitric oxide, nitrogen, and formaldehyde.

The vendor selected will be responsible for conducting these calibration services according to the required specifications detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). While these services do not equate to product safety certification or management system registration, they are integral in supporting ICE's mission by maintaining high standards of occupational health safety. Through this partnership, ICE seeks to enhance its capacity to deliver robust industrial health services across its operations nationwide.
