Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is seeking to establish a highly responsive repair and construction contracting tool to support projects within the Mobile District Area of Responsibility (AOR). The goal of this acquisition is to provide full-service design, repair, and construction of real property facilities and their systems and components for both known and unanticipated DHS requirements. This includes both Design-Build (DB) and Design-Bid-Build (DBB) projects.

Work Details
The contract encompasses a range of construction tasks including but not limited to: full-service design, repair, and construction work for real property facilities. The work may involve both new construction projects as well as repairs to existing structures. Specific adherence to the Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1) is required, which outlines safety protocols and health guidelines relevant to the construction tasks.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be defined in accordance with the specific project requirements outlined in individual task orders issued under this MATOC.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance for the construction projects will be in Anniston, Alabama.
