DH10 - Economist Intelligence Unit

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392, intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price, contract to The Economist Intelligence Unit, Inc. for the procurement of access to the Economist Intelligence Unit in support of the Naval War College. The Government will solicit and award using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items; FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services.

The delivery date will be on or around 05 September 2024.

The Naval War College requires to peer reviewed journal articles in subject areas covered in the NWC curriculum, and in which Faculty conduct research.

The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. The solicitation is not yet available. The expected availability date is 30 July 2024. Once available, the solicitation will be posted to the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Government. By submitting a quote, the quoter acknowledges the requirement and that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a quoter ineligible for award.
