Guest Internet Monitoring and Maintenance at the Fort Meade, SD VA Medical Center Campus

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide guest internet monitoring and maintenance services at the Fort Meade, SD VA Medical Center Campus. The goal of the contract is to ensure internet access for patients, family members, and staff without impinging on the efficient operation of the hospital and its clinics.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide monitoring and maintenance services for the existing guest wireless internet at the Fort Meade VA Medical Center. This includes providing technical support, network monitoring, on-site services, coordination with the local network provider, and monthly system reporting. The contract includes specific tasks such as providing and maintaining licensing & support for all devices necessary for proper operations, providing a web filtering service to prevent users from visiting inappropriate sites, and maintaining log files for one year.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance shall be for one 12-month Base Year and four 12-month Option Years. The Base Year will begin on 05/01/2024 and end on 04/30/2025, with subsequent Option Years following consecutively.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at VA Black Hills Health Care System, Fort Meade VA Medical Center, 113 Comanche Rd, Fort Meade, SD 57741.
