DFAS IBM Host Access Transformation Services (HATS) Services.

Background
The primary purpose of this requirement is to provide HATS training, consultation, deployment, and support services to the DFAS team to enable their mainframe modernization. Host Access Transformation Services (HATS) from IBM will allow Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS) to convert the outdated mainframe green screens to a graphical user interface (GUI). This aligns with the DFAS strategic goal to modernize their environment and make DCPS more intuitive, reducing processing errors and improving visibility and quality for their customers. It will also aid in the recruitment and retention of personnel at DFAS and customer sites.

Work Details
To provide HATS training, consultation, deployment, and support services to the DFAS team to enable their mainframe modernization. The activities include facilitating a high-level project kickoff conference call, scoping, requirement gathering workshop, conducting HATS online training for DFAS developers, providing post-production support including licenses for IBM Engineering Workflow Management Developer for IBM Enterprise Platforms for System Z Authorized User Single Install License + SW Subscription & Support 12 Months and IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software for zSeller Authorized User License + SW Subscription & Support 12 Months, providing support for the HATS application deployed in the production environment, providing Software Lab Services including specialist and administrative PM, assisting DFAS to analyze and fix issues, and providing contact information for the project support engineer.
