Description

Background
NASA/NSSC has a requirement for DEWESoft Training to enhance user proficiency in utilizing DEWE-43A 8-channel USB Data Acquisition Systems. The training is necessary due to variability in user proficiency and turnover within the technical test engineering organization. NASA intends to issue a sole source contract to DEWESOFT LLC, the sole provider of this training. The performance will take place at NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC).

Work Details
The vendor shall provide all labor, facilitation, curriculum customization, training materials, and logistical coordination necessary to deliver the NASA DEWE-43A & DewesoftX Training. The training will cover topics such as sensors, signal condition, and validation. Key components of the training engagement include:
- A 3-day technical seminar onsite at NASA GRC
- Printed training materials
- 10 training kits for use during the training
- A maximum of 30 attendees
- Hands-on exercises within GRC’s operational environment
- Up to 2 instructors. The training is designed for engineers and technicians with objectives to improve DEWESoft proficiency across core workflows, deliver hands-on training using real GRC data and systems, strengthen understanding of sensors and signal condition, and support workforce readiness.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is expected to occur over 2–4 weeks, which includes curriculum customization, onsite training (3 days), and post-training deliverables (within 1 week).

Place of Performance
NASA Glenn Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, OH 44135.

Bidder Requirements
The vendor must provide customized Dewesoft training curriculum and printed training materials. Approval of course curriculum prior to training is required.

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for DEWESoft Training.

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to DEWESOFT LLC 10730 Logan ST Whitehouse, Ohio 43571-9697 United States under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that DEWESOFT LLC is the sole provider of DEWESoft Training.

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Glenn Research Center (GRC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 611430.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 9/21/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
