Dewatering Pump Inspection & Repair - Rivers Project Office   2

Background
The solicitation is issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers for the maintenance services on seven 87 HP BS-2250.011 Flygt Submersible Dewatering Pumps. The period of performance for this contract shall be from the date of award to 30 November 2022.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform maintenance services on seven 87 HP BS-2250.011 Flygt Submersible Dewatering Pumps – Standard Imp. Code 432. This includes disassembling, inspecting, and repairing the pumps as needed. The contractor is responsible for pickup and delivery of all pumps from and to 301 Riverlands Way West Alton, MO 63386.

The contractor shall disassemble all seven pumps in order to inspect the impeller assembly, impeller casing, and impeller shaft assembly for damaged components or components showing excessive wear. If components are reusable, they should be cleaned and lubricated according to manufacturer specifications prior to reassembly. The contractor shall replace specific components as per manufacturer specifications for all seven pumps.

Following reassembly, the contractor shall fully drain and replace the mineral oil in the Sealing House for all seven pumps according to the manufacturer's recommendations. The contractor shall also Megger all seven pump motors and inspect and test electrical power cords. Additionally, the contractor shall clean and sandblast all seven pump housings and other parts as necessary in order to prepare the surface for paint and/or remove corrosion or other mineral deposits.

The period of performance for this contract shall be from the date of award to 30 November 2022.
