Development of Radiological/Nuclear Medical Countermeasures (MCMs) And Biodosimetry Devices   2

Background
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is issuing this solicitation for the development of Radiological/Nuclear Medical Countermeasures (MCMs) and Biodosimetry Devices. The goal of this contract is to enhance national preparedness against radiological and nuclear threats by advancing medical countermeasures that can be deployed in response to such incidents.

Work Details
The contractor will be required to furnish all necessary services, qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to perform the Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW includes:
1. Development of MCMs that are effective against radiological/nuclear exposure.
2. Creation and validation of biodosimetry devices for assessing radiation exposure levels in individuals.
3. Regular submission of Technical Progress Reports detailing activities undertaken and future plans.
4. Compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards for all reports submitted electronically.
5. Preparation of a summary report detailing salient results achieved during the contract period, not exceeding 200 words, due at contract expiration.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place at the contractor's facilities, with potential collaboration at designated government sites as necessary.
