Development of Radiation/Nuclear Medical Countermeasures (MCMs) and Bio-dosimetry Devices   12

Background
The contract is issued by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), a part of the National Institutes of Health. The goal of the contract is to support the research and development of biodosimetry approaches and medical countermeasures (MCMs) to mitigate/treat acute and/or delayed radiation injuries.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all necessary services, qualified personnel, material, equipment, and facilities to perform the Statement of Work. Offerors are required to provide a Statement of Work in their proposal based on the information provided in the Attachment entitled 'Research and Technical Objectives.'
The contract includes provisions applicable to direct costs such as conferences & meetings, food for meals, travel costs, consultant costs, and more.
Reporting requirements include technical progress reports, other reports/deliverables, invention reporting requirement, packaging, marking and shipping requirements, inspection and acceptance procedures.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from TBD through TBD. If options are exercised, the period will be extended accordingly.
