SOLICITATION NOTICE

The National Institute on Aging (NIA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) intends to re-compete a requirement currently being performed by Charles River Laboratories under NIA Contract HHSN271201600001I. This procurement is being competed under full and open competitive procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 15.

It is anticipated that a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract will be awarded for a 10-year ordering period beginning on or about September 30, 2022 to develop, maintain and distribute a standing colony of aged, genetically defined laboratory mice for use by investigators in studies of aging. This colony is to be developed and maintained within controlled and defined barrier environments where animals are monitored and characterized for disease status and markers of genetic purity.
