Development and delivery of training for the FHWA geotechnical program area

Background
This IDIQ contract provides for the development, update, and delivery of ILT, WBT, WCT, VCT, flipped classroom training, new and evolving training delivery platforms, and new technologies such as mobile apps and virtual world delivery. Additionally, this IDIQ provides for the development and update of supplemental materials and services to support training, advance the state of practice, and implement best practices in the Geotechnical program area.
The National Highway Institute (NHI) is the training and education arm of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), authorized by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to award Continuing Education Units (CEU) to participants who successfully complete selected NHI training courses.

Work Details
The objective of this contract is to develop, update, and deliver training, supplemental materials, and services to support training, advance the state of practice, and implement best practices for the FHWA Geotechnical program area. The specific work includes developing ILT, WBT, WCT, VCT, or flipped classroom training using new technologies such as ePubs, mobile apps, virtual world delivery, and gamification. It also involves developing or updating supplemental materials and services to support training in the Geotechnical program area. The Contractor shall provide necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities to perform the requirements under individual task orders.
